PROBLEM

Imposter Syndrome and Public Speaking Anxiety

Are Holding You Back

You’ve worked hard. You’ve earned your seat at the table.

But when it’s time to speak…time to deliver the presentation…That voice in your head whispers:

“What if I mess up?” ~ “What if they see right through me?” ~ “I don’t belong here.”

“At any moment, they are going to see me as the fraud I know I am.”

PROBLEM #1

Imposter Syndrome
Imposter Syndrome is a psychological pattern where high-achieving individuals are unable to internalize their accomplishments. Despite evident success, they experience persistent self-doubt and fear of being exposed as a "fraud." They attribute success to luck, timing, or external help, rather than their own abilities or intelligence.
  • Psychological Impact:

    Chronic self-questioning,

difficulty accepting praise, overworking to “prove” worth, discounting achievements

  • Emotional Impact:

Anxiety, fear of being “found out,” guilt over success, perfectionism-driven stress

  • Physical Impact:

Insomnia, fatigue, muscle tension, headaches – often masked as “working too hard”

PROBLEM #2

Public Speaking Anxiety
Public Speaking Anxiety is an intense fear or nervousness about speaking in front of an audience. Even seasoned professionals may experience psychological and physiological stress responses leading up to or during a presentation.
  • Psychological Impact:

Catastrophic thinking (“I’ll fail,” “They’ll see I’m not good enough”), avoidance of speaking opportunities, rehearsing obsessively

  • Emotional Impact:

Panic, dread, irritability, low self-confidence in communication settings

  • Physical Impact:

Dry mouth, racing heart, sweating, shaking, bowel issues, shortness of breath – often misread as mere “adrenaline”

PROBLEM #3

The Dangerous Cycle
When Imposter Syndrome and Public Speaking Anxiety coexist, they amplify each other in a self-reinforcing cycle.
Left unaddressed, this combination erodes confidence, performance, and well-being – even in the most accomplished professionals.
  • Imposter Syndrome Whispers:

“You’re not good enough to be here.”

  • Public Speaking Anxiety Adds:

“And now you have to prove yourself to everyone.”

  • The Combined Impact of Maladaptive Thoughts:

    "I'm not smart enough," "They'll see I’m a fraud," "I’ll embarrass myself.”

  • Negative Emotions:

    Shame, fear, frustration, helplessness

  • Disruptive Behaviors:

Avoiding key opportunities (presentations, promotions), over-preparing to exhaustion, micromanaging, or isolating oneself professionally

MEET YOUR COACH

Hi, I'm Jared Kelner

For over 30 years, I’ve lived at the intersection of business, performance, and psychology. I’ve sold over $350 million dollars in technology services to some of the world’s largest telecom and software companies. I’ve authored two sales books used in universities and by professionals nationwide. I’m also an award nominated professional actor, playwright, and acting coach. My students have gone on to star in hit shows like Dexter, Orange Is The New Black, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, S.W.A.T., Magnum PI, Days of Our Lives, Cobra Kai, and Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer.

But what truly sets me apart is that I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Human Development and worked as a therapist, where I helped individuals and couples navigate anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges.

I’ve earned internationally recognized certifications in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Micro-Facial Expressions, and Life Coaching, and I’ve coached executives at Cisco, VMWare, Prudential, Bristol Myers Squibb, Dow Jones, DotDash Meredith, Insight Enterprises and more.

My life has been blessed with extraordinary experiences, all of which have shaped my purpose: to help leaders like you break free from the grip of Imposter Syndrome and Public Speaking Anxiety, so you can communicate with authenticity and achieve your aspirational career goals.

WHY CHOOSE US

You've Earned Your Position.

Stop Torturing Yourself.

"I'm just not a good speaker."

It sounds harmless, but behind that phrase is a mask, one labeled fear, anxiety, and Imposter Syndrome.

You rehearse. You prepare, but the moment you speak, your energy drains.

Not because you lack skill, but because you’re carrying the weight of self-doubt.

You don’t need to keep hiding.

You need a way to speak that feels like the authentic you.

I am here to help when you are ready to
invest in yourself.

"I'm just not ready for this."

You’ve earned your place. You’ve done the work. But when leadership calls, you hesitate. Not because you’re incapable, but because you question if you’re deserve the opportunity.

This quiet self-doubt doesn’t mean you’re not ready. It means you care deeply.

And that care deserves to be honored, not hidden. I’ve helped leaders like you reclaim their voice.

You don’t need to be louder.

You need to be clearer, with yourself.

Stop ghosting your own brilliance.

"It's better if I stay silent."

You know what to say, but when the moment comes, your voice disappears. Not because you’re unprepared, but because fear freezes your mouth…and your momentum…and your credibility… and your confidence… and on and on...

The problem isn’t your intelligence, it's your fear of "what they might say or think." Growth only comes when you have the courage to step into the unknown, the uncomfortable and emerge safely on the other side with newfound understanding. You can do this. Take the first step.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the 2-hour webinar truly FREE or is there a catch?

The 2-Hour live webinar is 100% Free. There is no catch. At the end of the webinar, I will share a few options for how we can continue to work together, but there is no financial cost to you for our 2 hours together. If you feel like I can add more value to your journey and would like to continue working together, I would be humbled to walk alongside you and offer my expertise and coaching to help you reach your goals.

What will I learn in The Executive Speaking Accelerator Workshop?

Below is the webinar agenda:

- Host & Participant Introductions: 10 Minutes

- Imposter Syndrome & Public Speaking Anxiety: 15 Minutes

- The 7-Step P.R.E.S.E.N.T. Approach: 30 Minutes

- Impromptu Speaking Challenge: 20 Minutes

- Key Takeaways & Personalized Action Plan: 15 Minutes

- Q&A Session: 15 Minutes

- Next Steps: 10 Minutes

- Final Thoughts: 5 Minutes

- Total Time Together: 2 Hours

Is this a 1-on-1 private coaching session or will there be others in the Webinar?

This is not a 1-on-1 private coaching session. This is a group webinar open to a maximum of 100 attendees. The actual number of people in the webinar is dependent upon how many people register and attend.

Do I need to have my camera and microphone on and actively participate during the webinar or can I just be a silent observer with my camera and microphone off?

I encourage everyone that attends to have their cameras on, but that is not mandatory. All microphones will be auto-muted, but can be unmuted during certain parts of the webinar. As a former therapist, I am intimately aware that not everyone is at the same place in their person journey through Imposter Syndrome and Public Speaking Anxiety, and therefore, if you would feel safer learning from me with your camera off, to help you remain safe and anonymous, that is 100% your choice and 100% ok with me. If you feel safe doing it, I would challenge you to step into the discomfort of turning your camera on if that is something you'd be open to trying. Seeing people's faces and reactions to the material we explore together helps me customize the live presentation in the moment. The more you actively participate in the webinar, and avoid multi-tasking, the more you will learn, grow, and transform.
